The National 4th Infantry (IVY) Division Association's 106th National Reunion was held at the Marriott San Antonio NW, 3233 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78213, September 16-21, 2024.

We were extremely pleased to have General Randy A. George, Chief of Staff of the United States Army in attendance at the 106th National Reunion and deliver the keynote address. He was unable to be with us at last year’s reunion due to delays in his confirmation hearing but gave us a ‘rain check’ and a commitment for the 2024 Reunion. As is true to form for him, he fulfilled that commitment.

During his talk at the Flames of Remembrance Banquet, General George told the Association members to do him a favor when they each returned home.  To go out into our community and seek one individual who we would consider or suggest to that they consider the value of military service.  He said that the message is simple, the Army is a special place to experience a couple of years of your life.  As he phased it, Military/Army Service is ‘a Life Accelerator”.  We met our recruiting goal last year after several years when we did not.
