According to my information, the 4th Infantry Division crossed the Prüm River (a second time) on 28 February near Olzheim, Germany. It was during that crossing that Cpl. Jack Gellert was killed in action in Willwerath. His death occurred on or about 28 February. It was initially reported on one of the official documents as 5 March, but the date was revised afterward.
