Repairs made to the WWI Fismes Monument

The Fismes WWI Monument has been retrofitted with an engraved Massangis Limestone marker in place of the original bronze marker which has been subject to vandalism.

All three of our WWI Monuments were decorated with flowers in observance of the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, November 11, 2018 which marked the end of WWI.

This Fismes monument honors the 4th Division of the United Sates Army to commemorate its participation in the Aisne-Marne Battle.

This monument is located between Fismes and Bazoches-sur-Vesle, France on E46 where the U.S. 4th, 28th, 77th and 32nd Divisions came together in July-August 1918 during the Second Battle of the Marne.
