Rick Adams receives the 2011 Ralph E. Lingert Service Award

Past National President Rick Adams received the 2011 Ralph E. Lingert Service Award for his years of devotion to the Association. Rick has held several National Offices and an active member of the Carolinas Chapter. He is currently serving as Vice President – Planning. He is also Chairman of the Resolutions committee, a member of the Reunion Advisory Committee and representative to the Army Division’s Association. Rick served with the 4ID in Vietnam with HHT&B-Troop 1/10 Cavalry in 1968-1969.

The Ralph E. Lingert Service Award is the highest award that can be given by the National 4th Infantry (IVY) Division Association.

The Ralph E. Lingert Service Award is named in honor of Past National President and Financial Secretary Ralph E. Lingert. It is a lifetime achievement  award that shall be presented to the National 4th Infantry (IVY) Division Association member who is deemed to have shown the type of devotion to duty and Steadfast and Loyal dedication to the National 4th Infantry (IVY) Division Association that was found to be synonymous with the name Ralph E. Lingert. The recipient will be announced and the award presented at the National Reunion banquet each year.
