They are the Fairfield Inn (719-576-1717), Residence Inn (719-576-0101), La Quinta (719-527-4788) and the Hampton Inn (719-884-0330). The Hotel Eleganté (719-576-5900) where we held the 2012 National Reunion is located just across the Interstate at 2886 S Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO. They currently have availability and will meet the ($119 Rate w/Breakfast) with a cut-off date of July 13,2017.

Golf Outing at Valley Hi Golf Course – Tee Times TBD on August 8th; this 18-hole, par 72 course offers wonderful scenic views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain, complete with a full service golf shop that includes all the latest equipment and apparel. When you sign up on the registration form for this event you will be contacted by email to collect Handicap information, and when determined, receive rules of play for the event, Green Fees, Tee Times and if club rentals are required. Car pool or private vehicle transportation from the hotel to the golf course will be coordinated. Golfers will pay individually at the course. Typical Green Fees are $42 PP (Includes Green Fees and one-half Cart Rental for 18-holes), Club rentals full set 18 holes $19. Attendees for this tour must take Shuttle Buses from Hotel 
Roundtrip Shuttle Bus Service will begin at 8:30 AM from the Doubletree to a Ft Carson drop off point.
Army On-Post Shuttle service will move attendees between the 4ID Museum, Combative competition, DFAC and other points of interest throughout the morning and afternoon, with a Lunch stop at the Wolf DFAC (Dining Facility), for an On Your Own buffet lunch (cost approx. $6.00 per person, cash or credit card). Note: all attendees for the Ft Carson tour must be checked in and on the bus manifest list, from the master list of attendees. Please be early to assure all attendees arrive on time. The buses handicap lift capability is limited but available on the Shuttle Buses and Army Buses.

Roundtrip Bus Service from the Doubletree will begin at 11:00 AM with all attendees arriving at the Ft Carson drop off point by 12:30 PM. The Pass in Review is now scheduled for 1:00 PM at Founder’s Field, to be followed by visits to Veteran’s former Unit areas, for those veterans whose units are no longer on active duty with the 4ID, they can visit any unit of their choice; and a BBQ and entertainment at Ironhorse Park. Sunday – August 20, 2017
Departure Day

NOTICE: All scheduled activities and times are subject to change without notice, depending on the 4th Infantry Division’s priorities beyond our control. We will do our best to keep you informed of any changes.

We will hold the Annual raffle of items in the hospitality room, where attendees can purchase tickets for the items on display for a drawing to be held on Friday, August 18th. The winning tickets will be posted during the R&R event and winners can claim the prizes at that time.

We will conduct the Annual Quilt Raffle on Saturday night August 19th during the Flames of Remembrance Banquet. You do not have to be present to win. Quilt Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance by sending your donation ($5) per ticket to Don Kelby, the Executive Director. Checks should be made to the 4ID Association, Specify Quilt Raffle in the ‘memo line’ and provide your name and address, phone, email and the number of tickets you want.

We are also organizing an effort to furnish school supplies to Fort Carson’s On-Post Schools. In conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of the 4th Infantry Division the Association would like to do something special for the soldiers and their families at Fort Carson.

Since it would be impossible to meet each and every family at the Post we elected to support the families through a "School Supply Project".

There are many families on the Post and as is always the case those school supply lists come at the same time school clothes, shoes and many other incidentals need to be addressed.  So let's show our soldiers and their families what they mean to us.

Below is a list of supplies that are common in more than one class.  There is kindergarten thru 8th grade on Post with a total of approximately 3,000 students.

Suggested Items: No. 2 Pencils; 24 Pack Crayons; Glue Sticks; Hand Sanitizer; Kleenex(small pk); Ruler(inches/centimeters); Pink Erasers(big); Wide Rule Note Paper; Composition Notebooks; Pens (blue / black); Colored Pencils; Highlighters; and Dry Erase/Expo Markers        

All donations should be brought with you to the National Reunion in August 2017. Monetary donations as well as supplies will be given to Student Support Services during the reunion in time for the new school year. Checks should be made out to:  Fountain-Fort Carson School District
